The new Pursuit has finally arrived!  The Pursuit has been fully engineered and designed to incorporate the latest in performance engineering, as well as significant ride and handling advancements.

Key Features

OVERVIEW

The Pursuit is powered by the upgraded 5.4-litre Boss V8 engine, producing 315kW of power at 6,500rpm and 551Nm of torque at 4,750rpm.

Matched to the performance is the Brembo braking package featuring 355 x 32mm cross-drilled and ventilated front rotors with Brembo 4-piston calipers and 328 x 26mm cross-drilled and ventilated rear rotors with single red piston caliper as standard.  The Pursuit also features the new TR6060 6-speed manual transmission as standard and also offers the technologically advanced ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift, as a no cost option.

From a safety aspect, the Pursuit comes with driver and front passenger airbags plus front seat side head/thorax airbags 4 airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

Completing the package is the Pursuit's bold exterior styling, including high-impact badging on the tailgate, the striking new Mid or Dark Argent headlight accents, Black Chrome front grille, soft tonneau with FPV logo, side striping and the V8 bonnet bulge accented with a newly designed Boss 315 hood decal. 

The Pursuit is the ultimate sports coupe, with outstanding performance and drivability; performance engineering has transformed this practical workhorse into something special.

ENGINE

With 315kW of Boss quad cam V8 power producing a phenomenal 551Nm of torque, the Pursuit has been transformed into the ultimate workhorse.

The Boss 315 has been completely re-calibrated to maximize response and driveability, whilst an improvement in volumetric efficiency allows the engine to breathe better.  Importantly, the increased power does not compromise on fuel economy and in automatic guise; the Pursuit boasts fuel economy figures of 14.4L/100km.

Drivers of the Pursuit will notice improved power outputs, maximum ride comfort and awesome pulling power.

Transmission

TA new six-speed manual transmission has been introduced with the FG FPV range - the new Tremec TR6060.

The Tremec TR6060 is now fitted to all manual transmission variants in the FG FPV range - replacing the T56 six-speed manual on previous V8 sedan and ute models.

The new synchroniser package features triple synchromesh on first and second gears, and double synchromesh on all other gears, including reverse, which has significantly reduced gear shift efforts and shift travel.  The reduced shift travel provided by the synchroniser package has also allowed increased space for the use of larger gears, which are stronger to deliver improved torque capacity and gearbox durability.

The Pursuit also features the ZF 6-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as a no cost option.  This high-performance automatic gearbox offers the driver the best of both worlds.

Its Sequential Sports Shift system allows fast, clean manual gear changes to maximize all the available power for acceleration or quick downshifts.  And when in full auto mode, the adaptive shift system changes characteristics to suit your individual driving style.

STYLING

The Pursuit's styling is impossible to ignore.  The bold exterior styling is highlighted by the high-impact badging on the tailgate, the striking new headlight accents in Mid or Dark Argent as well as the soft tonneau printed with the FPV logo, side striping and V8 bonnet bulge accented with a newly designed Boss 315 hood decal.

The unique 19-inch wheel design in Alpine Silver alloy finish completes the Pursuit high performance exterior package.  

Inside, the Pursuit features sports seats in Silverstone cloth with Pursuit logo embroidery as standard with optional Nudo leather seats.  The Pursuit is also packed with features to ensure a premium driving experience, including a sports leather steering wheel with cruise control and audio mounted switches, single zone temperature control air-conditioning, 4-way power adjustable driver's seat, Bluetooth® and I-pod® integration and prestige audio system.
