Transit SWB

Available in front or rear-wheel drive, the SWB low roof Transit Van is perfect for negotiating those tight city lanes and loading bays without compromising load area or payload.

The front-wheel-drive gives you excellent fuel economy, a lower cargo floor for easier loading and unloading, and a lower total height allowing greater access to covered carparks. Alternatively, the rear-wheel-drive models are ideal for heavier payloads or if you need superior towing capability.

Transit MWB

The medium wheelbase van is available in front or rear-wheel-drive. The front-wheel-drive has a low-roof height and features left and right hand side sliding load doors as standard. The rear-wheel-drive is available with a mid-roof height for greater load carrying capacity. The front-wheel-drive gives you excellent fuel economy, a lower cargo floor for easier loading and unloading and a lower total height allowing greater access to covered carparks. Transit LWB

Available with the 2.4L Duratorq TDCi engine and a 6-speed manual transmission the LWB Transit Van easily accommodates two standard pallets with plenty of room left over for all those other items you need to carry. Transit LWB Van comes standard with a high roof and is available with an optional mid roof height. Cargo space ranges from 9.85 cubic metres in the mid roof to 11.29 cubic metres in the high roof van.

Transit Crew Cab Chassis

With the powerful 2.4L Duratorq TDCi engine, you'll find it well equipped to suit your business needs. With its dual rear wheel configuration, Transit Crew Cab Chassis (standard frame) boasts seating for six, a payload of up to 1,653kg2 and Gross Vehicle Mass of 3,550kg.

To carry even more, consider the optional extended frame model that provides seating for seven, a maximum payload of 2,521kg2 and a maximum Gross Vehicle Mass of 4,490kg.

Transit Bus

The Transit 12-seat Bus is perfect for anything from airport transfer services to ferrying around school and community groups. Based on the LWB frame, Transit allows your passengers to travel in first-class comfort. Transit Bus boasts numerous standard features like driver and front passenger airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and individual 3-point lap/sash seatbelts for driver and all passengers, power front windows and air-conditioning. It also provides supportive seats, each with a height adjustable headrest, loads of leg, head and shoulder room plus a generous one-metre long luggage area accessed via the rear door.

With a powerful 103kW Duratorq TDCi engine with a massive 375Nm of torque, Transit Bus has the power to cope with a full load of passengers and their luggage. Add to this Transit’s bold styling, and you and your passengers are guaranteed to arrive in style.

To provide your passengers with even greater protection the optional Professional Pack is also available featuring Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with Traction Control and cruise control with leather wrapped steering wheel.

Safety

Safety and security are both priority issues. Transit's new safety features include the latest technology available and include optional Traction control¹, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)^1.2. and side airbags³ which are a first for this type of van in Australia.

Perimeter Anti-Theft Alarm and Engine Immobiliser: For additional protection, Transit Van provides as standard a perimeter anti-theft alarm, hood lock and engine immobiliser. The engine immobiliser helps protect your vehicle with the use of a unique code chip integrated in the key fob. Should a thief attempt to drive the vehicle, it cannot be started without this chip being located in close proximity to the steering column lock. In addition to this, the hood lock helps prevent unauthorised tampering with the engine and control system.

2.4L 101kW TDCi engine: Our Duratorq TDCi engines use advanced design and technology to boost performance and efficiency. The improved 2.4 litre DuraTorq TDCi diesel engine produces an impressive 103kW of power, along with 375Nm of torque at 2000rpm.
It features improved performance feel particularly when starting from rest, where the high torque can immediately be felt.
Now Euro IV emissions compliant, this tireless diesel is available with a six speed manual transmission on rear-wheel drive models.

2.2L 81kW TDCi engine: Our Duratorq TDCi engines use advanced design and technology to boost performance and efficiency. The new 2.2 litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine delivers excellent fuel economy while offering 81kW of power and 285Nm of torque at only 1750rpm.
Now Euro IV emissions compliant and matched to a five-speed manual transmission, this engine has been designed to withstand the rigours of working life on the road.

2.3L 104kW Petrol engine: Transit's new 2.3 litre petrol engine* on rear-wheel drive models packs an impressive 104kW of power, along with 206Nm of torque. The fact that it's also suitable for conversion to LPG now makes it even more attractive in these days of rising operating fuel costs.

Traction Control: The Traction Control system provides the driver with better control of the vehicle by reducing the amount of wheel spin and instability when accelerating in corners or on loose or wet surfaces.
Traction Control is available as part of the optional safety pack that is available on all Transit models. It minimises wheel slip on any of the wheels through brake application.
